BURGLARS broke into a home and stole a large amount of gold jewellery.

The break-in took place in Suffolk Drive, Whiteley, between 7.30am and 5.50pm on Friday. No details have been released about the stolen items.

PC Joanna Mansell from Fareham and Gosport CID said: ‘Were you in the area at the time of the incident and did you witness anything suspicious?’
