Olivia Lewry, 16, was a pupil at St Vincent College, in Gosport, studying a diploma of vocational education.

She died in hospital after being hit by a green Honda Civc near the junction of Ann’s Hill Road and Brougham Street, in Gosport, on Sunday at 4.15am. Close friend Jasmine Allsop, 14, died at the scene.

Di Lloyd, principal at St Vincent College, said: ‘We’re sending our sincere condolences to Olivia’s family.

‘She’d been a student at the college since September.
