DRINK-DRIVER James Ryan has been banned from the roads.

Ryan, 52, of Fareham Road, Gosport, admitted driving a Vauxhall Zafira in Gosport Road, Fareham, after drinking too much on March 17.

A test revealed his breath contained 66 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres.

The legal limit is 35mg.

Ryan was fined £250 and told to pay £85 in court costs and £15 to a fund for crime victims.

Fareham magistrates banned him from driving for 16 months.
