DRINK-DRIVER Lewis Evans has been fined and banned from the roads.

Evans, 28, of Taverners Close, Gosport, was caught driving a BMW on the A27 at Farlington.

He had 78 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath – more than double the limit of 35mg.

Evans pleaded guilty to drink-driving when he appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court. He was fined £500 with a £100 in costs and banned from driving for 18 months.
