MOTORIST Karl Mangan was caught driving while more than twice the legal alcohol limit.

Mangan, 46, of Perth Road, Gosport, admitted driving a Lexus in Fareham Road, Gosport, after drinking too much on January 6.

A test revealed his breath contained 82 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres. The legal limit is 35mg.

Mangan was fined £500 and told to pay £85 costs and £15 to a fund for crime victims by Fareham magistrates,

He was banned from driving for 20 months.
