A MAN has admitted taking a vehicle without consent.

James Hibbard, 18, of Blanchard Avenue, Gosport, admitted the charge at Fareham Magistrates’ Court.

Magistrates imposed a community order with a 24-hour attendance requirement, three-month curfew and electronic tag.

Hibbard must also pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 costs and was banned from driving for a year.

He also admitted driving in Grange Road on December 13 last year, without third party insurance.
