DRINK-driver Neil Elmabruk has been banned from getting behind the wheel.

The 36-year-old pleaded guilty to driving a Peugeot 206 at Speedfields Park, Fareham, after drinking too much alcohol on April 30.

A test revealed his blood contained 92 milligrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres.

The legal limit is 80mg.

Elmabruk was fined £100 by Fareham magistrates.

He was also ordered to pay £15 into a fund for victims of crime and £55 in court costs.

Elmabruk was banned from driving for a year.

The ban could be reduced by three months.

However Elmabruk, from Turner Avenue, Gosport, would have to pay to complete a government-approved driving course by January 22 2012 to get his licence back early, magistrates said.
