MOTORIST Steven Jowett was caught driving while twice the legal alcohol limit.

Jowett admitted driving a BMW in Gosport Road, Fareham, after drinking too much. A test revealed the 36-year-old’s breath contained 86 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres more than twice the legal limit of 35mg.

Jowett, of Priory Road, Gosport, was banned from driving for 20 months,

Fareham magistrates fined him £110 and ordered him to pay £15 into a fund for victims of crime.
