THE mother and sister of toddler who went missing 32 years ago released two balloons in Gosport marking the anniversary of her disappearance.

Katrice Lee vanished in a supermarket on November 28, 1981, in Paderborn, Germany, when she was with her mum Sharon, of Gosport.

Each year Sharon and her daughter Natasha, also of Gosport, release balloons at Stokes Bay marking the anniversary of Katrice’s disappearance and her birthday.

Natasha has said this year was particularly difficult as it hit her that she had spent more time apart from Katrice than with her.

The toddler’s disappearance is being reinvestigated by the Royal Military Police, which admitted the original was flawed.
