CHARITY shop thief Mark Stubington has been given a two-year conditional discharge.

Stubington, 30, of Forton Road, Gosport, admitted stealing two DVDs from Age UK in Gosport High Street.

He was told to pay £85 costs.

Fareham magistrates made no order for compensation or costs as Stubington had made a £5 donation to the charity as compensation for his crime.
