SHOPLIFTER Wesley Ankrah has been ordered to pay compensation.

Ankrah, from Brockhurst Road, Gosport, pleaded guilty to stealing a Black and Decker drill from the Homebase store at Collingwood Business Park in Newgate Lane, Fareham, on February 16.

The 35-year-old was fined £50 and told to pay £64.98 compensation to the store by Fareham magistrates.

Ankrah must pay £85 in costs and £15 to a fund for crime victims.
