A MAN has been charged with allowing his dog to be dangerously out of control in a public place.

Ashley Wilson, 27, of Rothesay Road, in Gosport, was charged with the offence, contrary to section 3 of the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991.

He is bailed to appear at Fareham Magistrates’ Court on January 29.

It comes as police were called to reports of a dog biting a man in High Street, Gosport, on December 11. Police seized the dog on December 28.
