A 65-YEAR-OLD man was caught using racially aggravated, threatening words or behaviour.

Anthony Chant, of Lapthorn Close, Gosport, pleaded guilty to committing the offence in Fareham.

He was fined £70 by Fareham magistrates.

Chant was also ordered to pay £20 to crime victims and £55 in court costs.

Magistrates made no order for compensation.
