Gosport thief sent to prison
A THIEF has been jailed for eight weeks.
James Cannon, 33, of Forton Road, Gosport, admitted stealing rotisserie chicken worth £3 from Asda in Fareham on May 16.
He also admitted stealing two T-shirts worth £59.98 from TK Maxx in Fareham on May 13.
Portsmouth magistrates jailed him for eight weeks as he has a history of similar offences.
