A CAT was found dead with its head missing in Copnor.

It was found at 4.15am on Thursday in an alleyway between Allcott Road and Gatcombe Avenue, police said.

It comes after a dismembered cat found on November 4 in Woodfield Avenue, Farlington, sparked a police appeal.

A 20-month-old black female cat was hit by a car in the road and the body found two days later. The driver is not suspected of any crime. Call 101.
