MEMBERS of the public are being urged to help shape the next policing budget.

Hampshire Police Authority – which holds the purse strings for policing in this area – has launched an online survey to gather residents’ views on how cash for policing in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight should be spent in 2012/13.

Councillor Jacqui Rayment, Hampshire Police Authority chairwoman, said: ‘The results of the survey will be used to help shape the future policing services for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight and we welcome your views.’
