HAMPSHIRE police detectives involved in cases of child sexual exploitation and abuse have charged a man to appear in court over indecent offences against children.

Colin Dennis Davis, 74, from Lingfield Gardens, Southampton, answered police bail on Thursday, November 26 when he was charged with 36 counts of indecent assaults against nine boys under the age of 18 in the 1970s and early 1980s.

He is now on conditional police bail until Thursday, January 7, 2016 when he is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court.
