TWO serving Hampshire Constabulary officers have been bailed after being arrested in dawn raids.

The officers, both female and aged 28 and 29, were arrested as part of an anti-corruption investigation.

The 28-year-old officer was also questioned on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

They have been bailed until November 27.

A 32-year-old man, a 28-year-old man, a 26-year-old man and a 22-year-old man, were also arrested and released on bail until January 11.

Everyone arrested was questioned on suspicion of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

All six are from the Southampton area and were arrested as warrants were executed across the city.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission is supervising the probe.
