Hampshire Police release names of father and daughter who died in Isle of Wight tragedy

POLICE have released the names of the father and daughter who died in a tragedy on the Isle of Wight.

Darren Flux-Edmonds, 44, was found dead by officers at an address in Cromwell Avenue, East Cowes, yesterday morning.

His daughter Keziah Flux-Edmonds, six, (pictured) was found unconscious at the address and was taken to St Mary’s Hospital in Newport

She died a short time later. Two dogs at the address were also found dead.

Investigations into the exact circumstances of the deaths are ongoing today on behalf of the coroner, and post mortems are being carried out today.

Police say the family are being supported by specialist officers.

Isle of Wight Council member Julia Baker-Smith, who lives close to the house in which the tragedy happened, has spoken of the community’s shock following the tragedy.
