Havant area targeted by booze-loving crooks

THIEVES who have stolen alcohol from shops across the area are being hunted by police.

Officers in Havant have had several reports of alcohol being taken from supermarkets and small shops in the past week.

On one occasion, a man was reported to have stolen two cans from the One Stop in Mill Road, Waterlooville, hiding them in his trousers before strolling out.

On Thursday a man took meat and a quantity of alcohol from Tesco, in Lovedean Lane, Cowplain. Then on Saturday a man took alcohol from Lidl in London Road, Cowplain.

Officers are now looking for people with any information about the crimes to contact them by calling 101.
