A DRINK-driver caught while more than twice over the legal alcohol limit has been banned from getting behind the wheel.

Michael Hall pleaded guilty to drink-driving in a Renault Kangoo van in Wakefords Way, Havant, on April 7.

A test revealed the 49-year-old’s breath contained 81 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres. The legal limit is 35mg.

Hall, from Foxcott Grove, Havant, was fined £100 at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court, and ordered to pay £15 into a crime victims’ fund. Magistrates also disqualified Hall from driving for 18 months.
