Portsmouth’s new top cop will ‘seek out’ criminals causing ‘havoc’ in communities

DRINK-Driver Carol Oughton has been banned from the roads.

The 54-year-old, of Cross Way, Havant, admitted driving a car in Chilcote Road, Portsmouth, after drinking too much on June 30.

A test revealed her breath contained 95 milligrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood.

The legal limit is 35mg.

Oughton was fined £180 by Portsmouth magistrates.

She was also told to pay £15 into a fund for victims of crime and £85 in court costs.

Magistrates banned Oughton from driving for 12 months.
