THIEF Anthony Hughes has been told to pay compensation.

Hughes, 46, of Barncroft Way, Havant, admitted stealing lager from the Co-op in Forestside Avenue, Havant.

He was told to pay £9.02 compensation and £155 in a fine and costs by Portsmouth magistrates.
