MEAT thief Jamie Hall has been ordered to do 60 hours of unpaid work.

Hall, 27, of Nutwick Road, Havant, admitted stealing £50 of meat from the Co-op in Northern Parade, Hilsea, Portsmouth.

He also admitting stealing a pair of trousers from a Peacocks store in Portsmouth.

Portsmouth magistrates ordered Hall to pay £85 in court costs and £50 compensation to the Co-op.
