DRINK-driver Robin Hogan has been banned from the roads.

He pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall Astra in Larkwhistle Walk, Havant, while over the legal alcohol limit on June 3.

A test revealed his breath contained 62 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres. The legal limit is 35mg.

Hogan, from Southfield Walk, Havant, was fined £160 by Portsmouth magistrates.

The 28-year-old was also banned from driving for 18 months and told to pay £85 costs and £15 to crime victims.

The ban could be reduced by four months if he pays to complete a government-approved driving course by June 10 2012.
