DRINK-DRIVER Mark Hawkins has been fined and banned from the roads.

Hawkins, 34, of Juniper Square, Havant, had 60 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath when he was stopped driving a white Ford Transit van in Northern Parade, Portsmouth.

The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

He pleaded guilty to drink-driving when he appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

Hawkins was banned from driving for three years and fined £350 with £100 in costs.
