MAGISTRATES have banned a woman from the roads after she was caught drink-driving.

Sian Chandler was over twice the limit when she was stopped by the police in Cotton Drive, Emsworth.

A breathalyser test revealed she has 76 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

The 20-year-old, of Wilverley Avenue, Havant, pleaded guilty to drink-driving when she appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court. She was fined £160, with £100 in costs and banned from driving for 18 months.
