- Peter Linfield, 24, of Common Road, Hambrook, admitted speeding on Stein Road, Southborne, and failing to stop on March 20.

He was fined £185 for speeding and £280 for failing to stop.

- Nico Alexander, 24, of Brockhurst Road, Gosport, admitted assaulting a police officer on June 19 in Forton Road.

He admitted using threatening, abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour on the same day.

And he admitted failing to turn up to court on July 10.

Magistrates imposed a 12-week jail term suspended for a year after he spat at the victim.

He must pay £315 compensation. and complete eight days of rehabilitation activities

- Christopher Hollis, 35, of no fixed address, admitted theft of £30.60 worth of meat from Sainsbury's on July 12 in Portsmouth.

Magistrates jailed him for 24 weeks after he admitted breaching a suspended sentence for seven previous thefts and failing to attend a drug assessment.

- Jack Shotter, 28, of Fernhurst Road, Southsea, admitted driving while unfit through drugs April 28 in Southsea.

Magistrates fined him £80 with a 12-month driving ban.

He must pay a £30 victim surcharge.

- Jonathan Bondin, 21, of Craigwell Drive, Sunderland, admitted drink-driving in South Street, Gosport, on July 1.

A test revealed he had 68 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, nearly double the 35 legal limit.

Magistrates fined him £350 with an 18-month driving ban.

Bondin must pay a £35 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

- Robert Bradley, 39, of HMS Sultan, Military Road, Gosport, admitted drink-driving in Military Road on July 1.

A test revealed he had 121 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

Magistrates imposed a 32-month driving ban with a community order and 250 hours of unpaid work.

He must pay an £85 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

- Jenny Crown, 52, of South Street, Gosport, admitted assaulting a police officer, using threatening, abusive words or behaviour  and assaulting a PCSO on June 30.

Magistrates imposed a 12-month conditional discharge with £200 compensation, £20 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.
