Here are the latest updates from the courts

- Frederick Thompson, 62, of Highfield Road, Portsmouth, was convicted of assault by beating on November 24 last year in Southsea.

He was fined £100 with £75 compensation.

- Erin Stedman, 19, of Elgar Close, Paulsgrove, was found guilty of assault by beating on January 7 in Portsmouth.

Magistrates fined him £60 with a £30 victim surcharge and £100 prosecution costs.

- Amy Carter, 35, of Whichers Gate Road, Rowlands Castle, admitted two thefts.

She took meat worth £131 from Aldi on July 6 and £294 worth of goods from Next on June 21.

Magistrates imposed a 12-week jail term suspended for a year. She must pay £150 compensation.

- Eileen Mastin, 41, of Restawyle Avenue, Hayling Island, admitted theft of £8.70 worth of goods from Tesco on April 28.

She was fined £50 with a £30 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

- Billy Jay Green, 24, of Tewkesbury Close, Paulsgrove, admitted stealing four bottles of wine worth £28 from Co-op on January 26.

Magistrates fined him £50 with a £30 victim surcharge.

He was detained in court but this was deemed served as he spent time in custody after being arrested.

- Michael Antram, 26, of Woofferton Road, Paulsgrove, admitted 10 charges of fraud and was jailed for 20 weeks.

He carried out the frauds using stolen debit cards on July 13. Antram admitted breaching a community order for theft, theft from two cars, having an article for fraud, having a knife, fraud and failing to surrender to police.

- Ashley Martin, 37, of no fixed address, admitted failing to comply with supervision requirements after being released from jail.

Magistrates fined him £50. He was detained in court but this was deemed served.

- Gordon Mostert, 34, of Lakeside Drive, Cobham, Surrey, admitted theft of toothpaste and deodorant worth £4.50 from Sainsbury's on July 14.

He also admitted theft of garden furniture from B&M worth £141.99 on the same day.

Magistrates jailed him for four weeks.

He had been recalled to jail.

- Kathryn Mitchell, 34, of Pine Tree Farm, of Hambledon, admitted assault by beating on April 27.

Magistrates imposed a six-month conditional discharge with £20 victim surcharge and £400 costs.
