- Penelope Robinson, 49, of Pavilion Way, Gosport, admitted jointly stealing perfume in Portsmouth on July 22.

She also admitted theft of fragrances worth £287 from Boots on April 29 in Fareham.

Magistrates imposed an 18-month conditional discharge with £287 compensation to pay.

She must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

- Christopher Carter, 34, of Manchester Road, Fratton, admitted two thefts at Iceland in Fratton on September 5 and 12.

He also admitted failing to surrender to court on September 28.

Carter admitted theft of two De-Walt power drills worth £107 each from B&Q in Portsmouth on March 30.

Magistrates imposed an 18-month conditional discharge.

- Andrew Parkin, 57, of Nessus Street, Buckland, admitted being in an exclusion zone breaching a criminal behaviour order on November 15 and 18 last year.

Both times he was in London Road, Portsmouth.

He also admitted shouting various abusive words on November 15 in Commerical Road, another breach of his criminal behaviour order.

Magistrates fined him £120 with a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

- Pheonix Weighell, 20, of Railway Road, Newhaven, East Sussex, admitted assault by beating on April 4 in Portsmouth.

He was fined £360 with a £36 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

- Gary Chapman, 35, of Garden Court, Havant, was jailed for eight weeks.

He admitted assault by beating and using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress.

Magistrates ordered him to pay a £115 victim surcharge.

Chapman admitted breaching a conditional discharge for theft and was handed a four-week sentence.

In all he was given an eight-week term.

- John Marsh, 46, of no fixed address, admitted assault by beating between August 4 and 6 in Palk Road, Havant.

Magistrates imposed a community order with 10 days of rehabilitation and 40 hours of unpaid work.

He must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £150 prosecution costs.
