- Robert Blake, 40, of Jersey Road, Fratton, admitted assault by beating June 9 at the Post Office social club in London Road, Portsmouth.

Magistrates imposed a community order with 50 hours of unpaid work. He must pay £100 compensation, an £85 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

- Adrian Carthy, 31, of Park Cottage Drive, Fareham, admitted drug-driving on the M27 at Fareham on July 22.

Magistrates fined him £200 with a £30 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs. He was banned for a year.

- Ashley Harris, 31, of Cunningham Road, Waterlooville, admitted theft of cheese worth £117.50 from Co-op in Portsmouth on July 23.

Magistrates imposed a year-long conditional discharge with £20 victim surcharge.

- Michelle Jewell, 38, of no fixed address, admitted shoplifting at Boots on October 3 and on September 30.

Jewell also admitted assault by beating at the shop, in London Road, Hilsea, on the second occasion.

Magistrates jailed her for 60 days.

- Kevin Chandler, 39, of no fixed address, admitted driving while disqualified in St Anne’s Grove, Fareham, on September 26.

Magistrates jailed him for 120 days after he also admitted attempted burglary, assaulting a detention officer, having a screwdriver for use in theft, and failing to provide a specimen of blood.

Magistrates ordered him to pay a £115 victim surcharge.

- Adam French, 31, of The Crossway, Fareham, admitted attempted burglary in Gosport Road, Stubbington, on October 3.

He also admitted having a screwdriver, multi-tool and knife for use in theft.

Magistrates imposed a 60-day prison sentence suspended for a year.

He must pay a £115 victim surcharge.

- Dhondup Tsering, 43, of Viller Lane, Godalming, admitted two charges of assault by beating on July 31 in Bramdean.

Magistrates imposed a community order with 15 days of rehabilitation activities.

He must pay an £85 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

- Ian Westwood, 53, of Mitchell House, Woolston, Southampton, admitted assault by beating in Portsmouth on July 16.

He also admitted damaging a TV.

- Stefan Falzon, 36, of New Road, Fratton, admitted two charges of shoplifting.

He took meat from Marks & Spencer on June 25 in Southampton, and vodka from Tesco in Portsmouth on July 22.

Magistrates imposed a 12-month conditional discharge.

He must pay £200 compensation between the two shops.

- Dale Hodgkins, 35, of Knox Road, Portsmouth, admitted driving while banned in Tangier Road, Portsmouth, on May 10.

He also admitted driving without insurance. Magistrates imposed a four-week sentence suspended for a year.

He must pay a £115 victim surcharge.

Magistrates imposed six points on his licence.

- Jay King, 43, of York Place, Portsea, admitted damaging a window in Portsmouth on April 15.

He also admitted using racially-aggravated threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress.

He must pay £80 compensation, a £100 fine and £30 victim surcharge.
