A SOUTHSEA home was burgled twice in a fortnight, say police.

Thieves first struck at the property in Brougham Road, Southsea, between March 9 and March 11.

On that occasion a large amount of electrical items were stolen, including an X-Box 360, two laptops and two flatscreen TVs. Then on Monday, March 19, between 12.30pm and 12.45pm, the householder had popped out to the shop and when he returned he found the front door had been forced open and a laptop was missing.

PC Kate Smithers said: ‘A large number of items were stolen during the first burglary, which would suggest a vehicle may have been used.

‘Did you notice suspicious activity or have any information about the location of the stolen items?’

Anyone with information should contact PC Kate Smithers on 101 or call Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
