A TEENAGER without a valid driving licence who admitted taking a vehicle without consent has been banned from the roads.

Sam Weaving, 18, took the vehicle from his home in Merchistoun Road, Horndean.

Weaving admitted driving it without insurance or a full licence.

When it was recovered the vehicle was damaged.

Weaving was banned from driving for a year by Portsmouth magistrates.

He was told to pay £85 costs.

And he was ordered to spend 30 hours at an attendance centre.
