POLICE are investigating how a group of horses escaped from their paddocks.

The group of horses kept at Calcot Lane, Curdridge, were found loose in the field by their owner. Officers are trying to establish how the horses were able to flee their individual paddocks overnight on Monday, September 3.

PC Sarah Newman, from Bishops Waltham police station, said: ‘I’d like to hear from anyone who may have seen something suspicious in the area of Calcot Lane so that we can help the owner understand how her horses escaped.’

Information to PC Newman at Bishop’s Waltham police station on 101.
