MAGISTRATES have handed a man a suspended prison sentence.

Paul Lawrence, 28, of Beach Road, Southsea, admitted failing to comply with notification requirements under the Sex Offences Act.

He did not tell police of a change of address in December last year.

Portsmouth magistrates imposed a 12-week term suspended for a year for the offence.

He must pay a £115 victim charge and £85 costs.
