A 43-YEAR-OLD man was threatened at knifepoint in a late-night attack.

The victim was walking home from a pub through Buckland Park in Malins Road when he was approached by a man who threatened him with a knife.

The man demanded that he give up his wallet but the victim refused. The suspect then ran off towards Agincourt Road at about 1.15am on May 14. Now police have released this e-fit image of the suspect in the hope of bringing him to justice.

Detective Constable Les Leithes of Fratton CID said: ‘I am appealing for any people who may have been in the area of Buckland Park and may have seen the man in the light grey hoody to please contact us.

‘The offender was carrying a weapon and used this to try and threaten the victim, making this a very serious incident. If you think you know who this man might be, I urge you to come forward with information.’

The suspect is a white man, aged between 25 and 30 and 5ft 8in tall with a light-coloured goatee beard. He wore a light-grey hooded top, blue jeans and white trainers.
