BURGLARS smashed their way into a home in a break-in.

The thieves fled the property in Brougham Road, Southsea, with a Playstation 3 games, a Playstation 3 Slim edition in the original box, two wireless controllers, a navy blue rugby bag and a men’s black French Connection jacket.

The burglars broke in by smashing glass in the front door and opening it from the inside between 7pm on February 18 and 1.30pm on February 19.

PC Mark Brockman said: ‘The stolen rugby bag in particular will be something we encourage people to look out for, as it had ‘Solent Barbarians’ and ‘Akuma Rugby’ printed in white on it, along with ‘MJ’ handwritten on it.

We would also appeal for anyone who has had these items offered to them for purchase to contact us.
