A MAN who indecently exposed himself to a woman in Southsea is being hunted by police.

The victim was walking in St Ronan’s Road when she noticed a white car that appeared to be following her.

As she drew level with the car, a man inside asked her for directions.

She then noticed that the man was indecently exposing himself.

Now police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened between about 1.45pm and 2.30pm on Sunday.

PC Andrew Cullen is investigating. He said: ‘I’d like to hear from anyone who saw a white BMW, which possibly had the prefix of ‘MM’ in the area of Albert Road and St Ronan’s Road.

‘The area would have been busy at that time of day, and so I’d appeal to anyone who saw a man in a white car acting suspiciously to contact me.’

The man was white, in his late 30s and of a medium build with a Scottish accent and short, thinning, light hair.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Cullen at Fratton CID on 101.

Alternatively contact the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555111 where information can be given anonymously.
