Attempt murder probe: second man arrested

A 14-YEAR-OLD boy was robbed of cash and his mobile phone by two men in an unprovoked attack.

The teenager was approached by the robbers on the pathway between Hilsea train station in Portsmouth and Dover Road.

He took his phone out after they asked him the time and one of the men asked to see it.

When the victim refused the two men wrestled him to the ground, stealing his phone and wallet containing about £4.

The robbers then fled towards the train station between 1.45pm and 3pm on Monday.

Detective Constable Julie Way said: ‘It was a vicious unprovoked attack, which left the victim very shaken.’

One of the men is black, 6ft tall and of a skinny build with shaved black hair. He was carrying a JD Sports bag.

The other is Asian, 6ft tall, of a skinny build and aged about 20.

He wore a dark, zip-up hooded top, dark jeans and dark trainers.
