Hunt for trio caught on CCTV after shop security guard punched

THESE images have been released after a security guard was assaulted during a shoplifting incident at a shop.

Hampshire police said a woman had tried to steal mixer drinks without paying for them.

But when a security guard challenged her, two men approached him and punched him.

The guard was then verbally abused and he was left with bruising.

The trio then fled the Co-op store in Highland Road, Southsea.

Police want to locate three people shown in the CCTV images.

The incident happened on July 13 at 2.50pm.

Police released details today.
