Hunt for vandal after graffiti spray-painted in Portsmouth

Estate agents Bernards is offering a £250 reward for information leading to a successful prosecution after the vandalism at Cornerstone House, in London Road, North End.

Hampshire police said the incident happened after 4pm yesterday.

Hoardings at the building were sprayed with graffiti.

The building is being made into 18 flats with a maisonette.

The spokesman added it was being linked to vandalism to a bus in London Road at the junction with Northern Road.

He said: ‘A bus driver reported a man walking over to the bus while it was stationary.

‘He sprayed down the side and ran up Stubbington Avenue.’

The vandal was white, in his 20s, had brown hair, was wearing a white top and dark bottoms. Call police on 101.
