'˜I'll be haunted for life' says businessman cleared of killing his friend

A businessman cleared of killing his friend says the tragedy will haunt him for the rest of his life.

Aaron Brown wept in the dock as a jury today cleared him of manslaughter in a fatal boat crash.

Outside Winchester Crown Court, Mr Brown’s lawyer Daniel Reilly issued a statement on his bahalf saying: ‘Ryan McKinlay was a friend I had known for more than 20 years.

‘Ryan’s death will haunt me for the rest of my life but I know that nothing can compare to his family’s loss.

‘My thoughts are and always have been with them.’
