n Justin Fixter, 39, of Milton Road, Milton, admitted stealing meat, salmon and cheese worth £86.48 from the Co-op.
He was jailed for 90 days for the October 20 offence in London Road, Hilsea.
Fixter was also given a 30-day consecutive prison sentence after committing the theft during a suspended sentence.
He must pay a £150 criminal courts charge.
n Anthony Morley,60, of Allaway Avenue, Paulsgrove, Portsmouth, admitted stealing bacon and candles worth £29 from Tesco.
He committed the offence on October 27 in Clement Attlee Way, Cosham.
Morley must pay a £150 criminal courts charge.
Magistrates detained him in the court house for the offence.
n Edwin Willis, 21, of Allaway Avenue, Paulsgrove, admitted stealing £150 cash from a woman.
He committed the offence on July 3 in Portsmouth.
Magistrates jailed him for 12 weeks.
Willis must pay a £180 criminal courts charge.
n Jay Dugan, 41, of Castle View Road, Fareham, admitted stealing a leg of lamb and two beef joints worth £36.36 from Marks and Spencer.
He was fined £20 with a £20 victim surcharge and a £150 criminal courts charge to pay.
Dugan stole the meat from Thackeray Mall, Fareham, on October 11.
n Lora Hughes, 34, of Mariners Way, Gosport, admitted stealing 12 cans of deodorant and cat food worth £26.50.
She was fined £10 with a £20 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.
Hughes must pay a £150 criminal courts charge for the October 3 offence.
n David Knipe, 36, of Princes Street, Portsmouth, admitted stealing five pairs of sunglasses worth £134.95 from TK Maxx in Portsmouth.
He committed the offence on June 7.
Magistrates handed him a community order with a three-month drug rehabilitation requirement.
He must pay a £180 criminal courts charge.
Two others offences were admitted and taken into consideration.
Knipe admitted breaching a conditional discharge for theft. He also admitted stealing SD memory cards and USB sticks worth £176.96 from Boots in London Road on March 23.
Knipe also admitted stealing clothes worth £166.97 from Marks and Spencer in Portsmouth on July 11.
He admitted entering as a trespasser with intent to steal at Boots in Portsmouth on August 6. And he admitted criminal damage after damaging a door on August 6.
