POLICE are investigating a number of reports of tyres being slashed.
Officers on Hayling Island said there have been an increase in that type of crime with the latest happening on September 18 when a council van parked on the seafront had two tyres punctured.
It is believed a penknife or screwdriver was used. Police are checking CCTV in the area to identify the offender.
