POLICE want to reunite stolen boat equipment with its owners.

A large number of outboard motors, tenders and radio equipment are believed to have been stolen across Hampshire, Sussex and Dorset.

A 21-year-old man and a 23-year-old man, both from Portsmouth, were arrested on suspicion of going equipped for theft.

They were questioned before being released on bail until December 3.

It is suspected some of the equipment was stolen from the Chichester area in August or September.

A photo album has been created at facebook.com/chipolice to help reunite owners with the property.

Anyone with information about the thefts can call police on 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk
