A TERRIFIED teenager has told of her ordeal after being raped by a 17-year-old.
Ryan Miller pushed his victim to the floor in a house and raped her last October.
The girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was a virgin before she was attacked, a court heard.
Both had been drinking but the victim was more drunk than Miller, now 18, of Penhale Road, Fratton, Portsmouth.
‘Straight after the offence I started having nightmares, a dream I’m being raped again and wake up petrified,’ the victim said in her statement read at Portsmouth Crown Court by prosecutor Unyime Davies.
‘If I see any movement or shadows I feel I’m going to get raped again.’
The victim added she had to undergo tests for HIV and hepatitis B at St Mary’s Hospital.
Judge Roger Hetherington jailed Miller for 30 months. Miller, who wept in the dock, was found guilty at trial.
‘You forced yourself on to her,’ said the judge.
‘I don’t think she consented for that but it’s conceivable that you, not realising just how drunk and incapacitated she was, might have thought she was letting you do it.
‘What is clear on the evidence and the jury’s verdict is that (once you started) she made it abundantly and loudly clear that she did not want it and you must stop repeatedly, telling you to stop as she experienced real pain.
‘Your reaction was to carry on, overriding her pain and obvious wishes and saying words to the effect: “yes you do, yes you do”.’
The judge reduced the term for Miller’s age at the time of the crime and due to his good character and lack of previous convictions.
The pair had oral sex before the rape.
Tom Nicholson, mitigating, said Miller is vulnerable and immature.
He must sign the sex offenders’ register for 10 years.
