A PROLIFIC burglar is behind bars after admitting to a crime spree.

Scott Keet, 34, of Longfield Road, Bognor, admitted eight offences of fraud, five of burglary and four of theft from vehicles between August 2015 and February this year.

A Sussex Police spokesman said Keet, who was jailed for three years, was opportunistic and committed the crimes during the night in Felpham and Bognor Regis. He used stolen bank cards mainly for gambling.

He said police officers worked with gambling companies across the country to trace and prove the offences Keet had committed in relation to the stolen cards that were used.
