A MAN who murdered a mum-of-five has launched an appeal against his conviction.

Justin Robertson, 36, was found guilty of murdering Pennie Davis following a six-week trial at Winchester Crown Court.

He was given a life sentence and will serve a minimum of 32 years.

Robertson has now applied to the Court of Appeal.

Mrs Davis, a 47-year-old former Chichester supermarket worker, had moved to the New Forest and was found stabbed to death last year.
