He was fined £1,000 with a £100 victim surcharge, told to pay £85 costs, and banned for two years.

Tyler Brooks, 18, of Bedford Drive, Titchfield, admitted two charges of sending a message of a grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character on December 24 in Stratton Close, Portsmouth.

He was given a two-year conditional discharge, a two-year restraining order, £21 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

David Stone, 46, of Western Parade, Portsmouth, admitted three charges of assault by beating on the same woman on October 9, 10 and 13 in Portsmouth.

He admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm against the same victim on January 1 in Hamilton Road and was handed a four-month jail term suspended for two years.

He was already on a community order, and he must complete 25 days' rehabilitation activities.

Ben Turner, 24, of Burnett Road, Gosport, admitted sending a malicious communication on January 13 in Gosport, assault by beating on December 26 and causing harassment, alarm or distress on January 13.

He was given a one-year community order with 15 days' rehabilitation activities, and 80 hours' unpaid work, a two-year restraining order and he must pay a £90 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Daniel Close, 34, of High Street, Lee-on-the-Solent, admitted stealing £44 worth of clothes from Tesco on December 27 in Portsmouth.

He admitted breaching a community order for four thefts, and a conditional discharge for a theft.

He was handed a one-year community order, six-month alcohol treatment programme, a six-month exclusion order from Crasswell Street's Tesco store, 15 days' rehabilitation activities and must pay £10 compensation.

Ashley Watson, 27, of Ashford Close, Cosham, admitted two charges of shoplifting on January 15.

He stole £200 worth of alcohol and food from Asda in Waterlooville, and £180 of the same at Tesco in Havant.

He admitted failing to surrender to custody at court, and breaching a conditional discharge for shoplifting, and was handed a 18-month community order, nine-month exclusion order from the shops and 10 days' rehabilitation activities.

He has to pay a £90 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
