Richard Pennell, 35, of Whitworth, Gosport, admitted drink-driving in a Ford Transit van in The Crossways, Gosport, on May 31.
Magistrates fined him £400 with a £40 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Pennell was banned from driving for 17 months.

Hide AdLee Simmons, 49, of Waterworks Road, Portsmouth, admitted drug-driving in Fitzherbert Road, Portsmouth, on February 3.
Magistrates fined him £323 with a £32 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.
He was banned from driving for 12 months.
He had a cocaine byproduct in his blood.
Biodomoye Thompson, 30, of St Simons Road, Southsea, admitted cannabis drug-driving on March 25 in Fawcett Road, Southsea.
Magistrates imposed a £45 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.
He was banned for a year.

Magistrates ordered him to pay £400 compensation and £85 victim surcharge.
Michelle Carr, 50, of Tickleford Drive, Southampton, admitted being on the A3 at Clanfield in a position where she could not have proper control of her Citroen Relay on September 2 last year.
Magistrates imposed a three-month conditional discharge with £20 victim surcharge and £50 prosecution costs.
Carr received three points on her licence.

He was fined £250, a £30 victim surcharge and £310 costs,

Calvin Lyons-Fitzearle, 24, of Naish Drive, Gosport, was found guilty of using a phone while driving in Gosport Road, Fareham, on April 17 last year.
Magistrates did not ban him from driving as he has to take his child to hospital in London and cannot use public transport.
Magistrates fined him £125, a £30 victim surcharge and £105 costs, and imposed six points on his licence.
